OnePlus has a great feature called Lockbox buried deep within a lot of people who don't know about it. To access it, you must open the File Manager app and you'll see it below.
You can transfer files to Lockbox within the File Manager app. Tap Documents, Pictures, Videos, or Audio depending on the type of file you want to transfer, long-press the file, then tap the icon in the upper-right corner (three vertical dots) followed by "Move to Lockbox."
Step by step instructions:
Open the File Manager app.
Open the favorite folder (documents, photos ...).
Click and hold the file you want to hide.
Click on the icon in the upper-right corner (three vertical points).
Click "Move to Lockbox" to finish the job.
