A quick note
You can also take a screenshot with Quick Memo, which can instantly capture and allow you to create doodles on your screenshots. Just swap "quick memo" from the notification shade. Once enabled, the editing page will appear. You can now write notes and doodles on the current screen. Click on the floppy disk icon to save your work.
Air traffic
Another option is to use Air Motion. This works with LG G8 ThinQ and includes using the built-in ToF (Flight Time) camera to recognize air gestures. Simply point your hand at the device until you see the code indicating that you have recognized the gesture. Then tap the air to grab your fingertips together, then loosen them again.
Capture +
Not enough options for you? Another way to take screenshots on the LG G8 is to pull down the notification bar and then tap the Capture + icon. This will allow you to take regular screenshots, as well as extended screenshots. You will then be able to comment on the screenshots as well.
Third-party options
Not satisfied with how to take screenshots on Android in the standard way? After that you can always try installing additional apps that give you more options and functions. Some good examples include Screenshot Easy and Super Screenshot. These apps do not require root and will allow you to do things like register your screen and set a bunch of different launchers. You can also set up your own screen capture methods with Tasker!
